原廣州白云區(qū)中大附屬外國語小學已更名為：“廣州市白云區(qū)中黃外國語小學”。

在外小，學生每年的平均閱讀量在100本左右。

網(wǎng)絡(luò)信息發(fā)達的年代，紙質(zhì)閱讀很容易被電子產(chǎn)品把玩所替代。

但正因為如此，喜歡閱讀，堅持閱讀，在書海中開拓視野，深度學習，就顯得格外珍貴。

持續(xù)將近半個月的閱讀周活動圓滿結(jié)束，但閱讀并不會因此就斷層。

活動只是開啟魔盒的鑰匙，書香中的世界才是孩子們真正要抵達的樂園。

正如家長朋友圈所說那樣，

閱讀終將帶領(lǐng)孩子們抵達理想之境。

The Book Week is coming to a close at GIPSB. Students, parents and teachers alike have all been involved to make this week a real celebration of reading.

中大外小圖書周的活動已經(jīng)圓滿結(jié)束。孩子、家長和老師的多方參與，讓讀書周活動成為學習社區(qū)的真正的閱讀慶典。

Students were invited to bring in a book they were willing to swap with other students. From simple readers to novels to encyclopaedias and non-fiction in both English and Chinese, students donated a book and gained a book!

周一，學生們攜帶一本品相完好，且無需再讀的書籍，進行圖書交換。從簡單的繪本到小說，再到百科全書和中英文刊物，孩子們通過交換一本書，收獲一本書的形式進行圖書漂流。

Throughout the week, Grade 3 students entertained Grade 1 & 2 students with their student-led drama that erupted in rounds of applause after each performance.

在這個星期，三年級為一二年級的弟弟妹妹們表演在第一個探究主題中排練的舞蹈劇。每場表演后，觀眾席里都會爆發(fā)出熱烈的掌聲。

Our costume day was the highlight of the week- showcasing students’ (and teachers’!) favourite characters from books and comics. Special thanks to all the thoughtful homemade costumes; we really appreciate your efforts in supporting your child. The love and effort of parents and teachers during these types of events make memories for life.

其中，裝扮日是本周的亮點——展示學生們（和老師們）最喜歡的中外故事書中的人物。在此特別感謝那些默默付出，自制服裝的家長朋友們；我們非常感謝您為支持孩子的自制服裝而付出的諸多努力。來自父母、老師們的愛和努力，將會是一生的回憶。

Further, our own teachers led small reading groups up in the library each day as a special, cosy reward for our upper primary school students. Teachers chose books that conveyed special meaning and students responded in kind by being active and deep-thinking inquirers during their sessions.

此外，我們老師每天都會在圖書館開展小型的讀書會，為孩子們讀書。這一項是作為對高年級孩子的特殊獎勵噢！老師們會選擇具有特殊意義的書籍，在這過程中，孩子們也積極主動地進行探究，然后進行分享。

Grade 5 & 6 students also had the chance to gain work experience; as teachers to lower primary! They read books, performed presentations and captivated our young students’ attention like our most seasoned teachers.

五、六年級的高年級同學們也有機會獲得一份特殊的工作經(jīng)驗----作為一二年級同學的小老師！他們像經(jīng)驗豐富的老師一樣講故事，還特別有方法，弟弟妹妹們都聽得入迷啦！

Most special of all was our volunteer parents that jumped at the chance to share readings and mini-classes with our students on the importance of books. Having parent role models from outside of school strongly reinforces our message to students: reading is a lifelong passion!

最特別的是，故事爸爸、故事媽媽們進入課堂，為孩子們繪聲繪色地講故事。家長作為最佳榜樣，有力地傳達了：閱讀是一生的愛好！

Finally, our fantastic book fair has been running in the 4thfloor gym from Wednesday to Friday. The hardworking homeroom teachers of each class booked a time to visit and students showed their responsibility and maturity in looking after their own money and carefully choosing books suitable for themselves.

為期三天的書展，在四樓體育館舉行。班主任們提前預約了參觀時段，學生們在預算內(nèi)按照自己的喜好，精心挑選了適合的書籍，表現(xiàn)出了小讀者的責任感和成熟度。

據(jù)說，猶太人家庭有個“甜吻書”儀式：在孩子很小時，母親就會翻開《圣經(jīng)》，滴一點蜂蜜在上面，然后讓孩子去親吻圣經(jīng)上的蜂蜜。這樣做是為了告訴孩子：書本是甜的。

最初的記憶，伴隨一生。

今天，當我們以豐富的活動形式舉辦“讀書周”，同樣，正是在閱讀這件事上滴下蜂蜜，提醒孩子們：閱讀如此美好，你們值得熱愛！
